When you create a TailorFit CV account, we collect your name, email address, and the resume content you upload or write directly — including work history, education, and skills you add to your master resume.
We also collect job descriptions you paste or that our Chrome extension detects, solely to generate a tailored resume for that posting.
Your master resume is used to generate tailored versions matched to job postings you provide. We do not use your resume content to train shared or public AI models.
Resume tailoring is performed by a third-party AI model provider under a data processing agreement that prohibits using your content for model training. Job descriptions are retained only as long as needed to generate and store your tailored result.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with infrastructure and AI processing vendors necessary to operate TailorFit CV, each bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
You can clear your master resume at any time from Account Settings. To request deletion of your account or any other data we hold about you, email support@tailorfitcv.com.
Resume data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS, SSL-only database connections). Data at rest relies on our infrastructure provider's storage-level encryption. Access to production data is limited to engineers who need it to operate the service.
